"Made by HELLER" training

Technician training at the highest level

The HELLER training workshop was founded in Nürtingen in 1913. Since then, our company has stood for technician training at the highest level and enjoys a good reputation way beyond the region's borders. In recognition of our outstanding commitment to training, we received the Training Certificate from the Federal Agency for Employment in 2016. We are very proud of the quality of our training.

A "Made by HELLER" training programme puts you right at the front!

In addition to extensive practical experience at our modern workstations in our training workshop, your programme will be rounded out by sound theoretical knowledge. Throughout your training period, your trainers are your points of contact. They will provide you with one-to-one technical support and give you useful tips as well.

Joint actions strengthen team spirit.

To give you adequate opportunity to get to know one another, we have planned the following actions for the trainees:

  • familiarisation week (1st training year)
  • one-week field trip (2nd training year)
  • day trip (3rd training year)

And of course there are plenty of other opportunities that will call on your team spirit. As part of the HELLER Apprentice Initiative (HAI), you will plan and devise your voluntary projects together, organise fund raising events and commit to integrating people with disabilities.

HELLER teaching and learning factory

An integrated concept for qualified specialists

In the HELLER teaching and learning factory, the skills required to construct and manufacture a CNC machine tool can be learned and trained under real conditions. All areas of expertise, processes and correlations, from development to production and assembly through to delivery are trained and implemented on the physical object. The HELLER CNC ProfiTrainer is the heart of the HELLER teaching and learning factory. As a small equivalent of a large-scale machine tool, this training machine offers the same functionalities, acting as both the tool and the machine under construction at the same time.

The result is an "intelligent factory" which is characterised by adaptability, efficient use of resources, ergonomic design and the integration of customers and business partners in business and value-creation processes. The HELLER teaching and learning factory offers training at all levels and conveys entrepreneurial, social and technical skills at the same time. This much acclaimed concept is now successfully employed for educational and training purposes and is part and parcel of a "Made by HELLER" training programme.
