HELLER is now the new technology partner of Porsche Penske Motorsport. The cooperation will be visible for the first time at the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans on June 10th and 11th, 2023. "HELLER and Porsche share the same values: precision in detail and sustainability in development and production," describes HELLER CEO Dr. Thorsten Schmidt the new partnership. And Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President of Porsche Motorsport, adds: "We want to bring innovative technologies and sustainability to motorsports and be at the forefront of new developments."
As part of the cooperation, the company based in Nürtingen will now work very closely with Porsche Motorsport and the entire technology network. "In this way, we are expanding our customer potential and can accelerate our growth in world markets," CEO Dr. Thorsten Schmidt is looking forward to the cooperation.
With the newly developed endurance racing car Porsche 963, Porsche Penske Motorsport is embarking on a historic year in motorsports. This is because the legendary race in Le Mans will take place for the 100th time this year. Further appearances in the WEC racing series will follow, including in Italy (Monza) and Japan (Fuji). And always there: The HELLER brand logo clearly visible on the Porsche 963.
Furthermore, Porsche Penske Motorsport is showing its colors on the important US market for HELLER: The team is also participating in the famous IMSA racing series, which includes appearances on famous tracks such as Daytona or Indianapolis.
Both partners are planning numerous events for HELLER customers. For example, the Porsche 963 will be seen at important industry fairs at the HELLER booth.
As a celebration of the 100th 24-hours of Le Mans, Porsche Penske Motorsport will take part with a special and festive livery. Due to its colorful design, the Porsche 963 was given the name: “Butterfly”.
